Session Description
Fundamentals of Photography - Part II: Taking Better Scenics. This session will cover artistic composition and format, including basic photography gadgets, composition, arranging key elements, framing, and boundaries – thinking inside the box, angle of view – high and low, and texture. Weather permitting, we will take a stroll outside to put your new knowledge to practical use. Don't forget to bring your camera!
About the Speaker
 J. Scott Kelly is a professional photographer with more than 25 years of experience as a commercial and portrait photographer. He studied the arts and developed a great interest in the realistic painters. While studying painting, he found he could achieve his goals through photography, so he chose to use a camera as his brush. After years of apprenticeship and study, he graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology in Jensen Beach in 1985 with an Honors Degree in Photographic Technology. His photography has taken him around the world capturing special moments in the lives of his clients.
